Under a big weeping willow at Crescent Hill Acres, this Canadian countryside wedding was full of cowboy hats, wildflowers, and golden-hour charm. As a destination wedding photographer, I love traveling for celebrations like this one — a true countryside wedding at a working farm venue, with a rustic white barn, wide-open green fields, and a couple who wanted their day to feel as relaxed and unpretentious as the land around them.

Crescent Hill Acres is one of those rare venues that gives you both — a picture-perfect white barn for the reception and a wide-open lawn shaded by an enormous weeping willow for the ceremony itself.

Guests gathered on wooden benches beneath that willow tree as the couple exchanged vows in true countryside style, cowboy hats and all.

Afterward, we slipped away for a few quiet portraits around the property before heading back to join the party.

Inside the barn, string lights and long farm tables set the scene for a dinner of ham, roasted potatoes, and all the classic countryside fixings.

From vows beneath that willow tree to a barn full of string lights, this Crescent Hill Acres wedding was countryside romance from start to finish. If you’re dreaming of a rustic barn wedding — in Canada or anywhere else — I’d love to talk about your day. Reach out to check availability and start planning your own countryside celebration.
